Bonaire, The Caribbean.
27th October - 7th November, 2012
Introducing: Nine days of unlimited diving in the beautiful Caribbean paradise that is the island of Bonaire!

Yes - that's what we said, UNLIMITED!!

This trip is unprecedented - we have arranged a ten day holiday to Bonaire, flights and fantastic accommodation included, where the diving is completely in your control. You can do as much (or as little!) as you like!

What makes this trip so great is the absolute freedom you have - your accommodation comes with it's own rental vehicle, which you can use to drive to any the 81 dive sites whenever you feel like it. But if you don't feel like diving? You can just park up on the beach somewhere and relax in the sun and the breath-taking scenery.

Unlike a liveaboard, you don't have to get up when the briefing bell rings - you don't have to stick to the boat schedule - and you don't have to confine yourself to your tiny cabin if you wan't some peace and quiet for a while! How fantastic is that!

What's Included:

Return flights from the UK (Bristol)
10 nights accommodation in the Caribbean Club cottages (based on four people sharing)
9 days of UNLIMITED shore diving, 24 hours a day (free air, tank, weights)
One free boat dive
FREE Nitrox upgrade if certified!
Vehicle hire (inc. taxes and insurance)
Airport transfers, taxes, fuel surcharge and ticketing fee

What's Not Included:
Diving equipment hire other than 12 litre tank and weights
Fuel for rental vehicle
Food and drink
$25 contribution to the Bonaire Marine Park for the protection of the reef and ocean around Bonaire
Diving:

At Bonaire’s southern dive sites, you’ll enter the water and find a long, shallow, gently sloping shelf. In some areas, there’s actually a second reef, much older geologically. In the shallows, large soft coral
gorgonians are common, and in the extreme southern sites, encounters with pelagics are not uncommon.

When looking at Bonaire’s northern geography, it is much hillier, and this will follow through to the underwater terrain. On the northern sites, you’ll find a very short shallow terrace in about twenty feet of water, and, not far from the shoreline, the drop-off will mostly begin with a 45-degree angle. Here, many dive sites favor more hard corals, and you’ll see large colonies of star and brain corals.

Other Activities:

There are so many other (eco)-adventures Bonaire
has to offer apart from SCUBA diving. Hiking, mountain biking, cave exploration, snorkeling, kayaking, and trips to the Washington Slagbaai National Park or the Goto Meer (Lake Goto) are just a few of the activities available.

There are almost 200 species of birds, including the flamingo and the lora and Bonaire boasts over 300 flora species. The datu, kadushi, divi-divi tree, mangrove trees, and the prickly pear are probably the ones you will notice the most. Other above-water fauna include the hermit crabs, iguanas, lizards, and the donkeys and herds of goats that roam the island.
